Card Connections Community Youth Project

As Rosh Hashanah draws near we wanted to invite your children to participate in a special initiative to make Shana Tova cards for members of our community. Included below are two videos made by Lori Gleaton, which serve as guides for making pomegranate or honey cards.  The pomegranate cards are for older kids (8+) and the honey cards are for kids of all ages.  Kids are also welcome to make their own style Shana Tova cards.

If you’d like to participate in this project we ask that you please drop the cards your children make at Congregation Dor Tikvah by Sunday, September 13th so that we can distribute them to members of our community. There will be a basket at the front of the shul for drop off.  Alternatively, feel free to take a picture of your child’s card and email it to lorigg@gmail.com and we will print them for distribution.

Acts of kindness both big and small help us build resilience and strengthen our connections with one another. We appreciate your support of this project and all that you are doing to help our community feel more connected during this time.

We look forward to having the opportunity to all be together in person very soon.
