Teen summer celebration 5/28/17

It's time to say goodbye...

TYLT and group leaders got together for a meal by the Hirsch's to celebrate the end of the school year. After an amazing lunch, the group leaders went to work on their teamwork under pressure at "Escape in 60" and see if they can escape before the doomed ship ends up in Davy Jones' Locker... And just almost escaped on time!

J-Serve day of service 4/2/17

Dor Tikvah TYLT program joined Jewish teens from the Charleston area for a day of service, organized by BBYO,Charleston Jewish Federation and Dor Tikvah TYLT!

Project: We prepared 60 "Bottles of Smiles" for children at the MUSC children’s hospital. These bottles provide joy and happiness to hospital bound children as well as their siblings. The bottles were assembled at the Federation, and then we delivered them to MUSC for the kids.

2nd Chanukah Glow in the Dark Dodgeball 12/11/16

We had so much fun in our 2nd annual Glow in the Dark Dodgeball event!
EC4 through fourth graders decorated doughnuts, made Chanukah thank you cards to give their parents, got their faces painted in glowing paint and played glow in the dark dodgeball!
Later that evening, our TYLT program teens that helped throughout the event, had their own Glow in the Dark Dodgeball game.
Thank you to all of our volunteers that helped make this event happen- Marcie Rosenberg, Lori Gleaton, Rachel Chapmen and the team of Dor Tikvah's group leaders!
