THE CHARLESTON MIKVAH

A Spa for the Soul

Mikvah Front.png

ABOUT

Our Mikvah will be a 21st-century state-of-the-art creation rooted in ancient tradition; a spa for the soul designed to serve the Jewish community of today.

We are in the initial stages of building a new Mikvah that will meet the urgent needs of the Jewish community in Charleston, South Carolina.

This Mikvah will be a stunning facility where women from throughout the community and beyond can fulfill this most special and beautiful mitzvah. It will also serve to promote the observance of the laws of family purity (Taharat Hamishpacha).

With gratitude to the Almighty, on Wednesday, May 15, 2024, (ז' אייר תשפ"ד) we poured the concrete for the Mikvah pools. This special procedure was supervised by Reb Chaim Eichenstein, a visiting expert from MikvahUSA.
